Green [B/C/D] Line to Kenmore

The store is located on the first floor of a brownstone in a trendy neighborhood in the center of Boston, blocks away from Boston University's campus. The comics are arranged in five broad categories: Marvel, DC, Vertigo, Independent, Manga. Everything that needs to be there, at least the major stuff, seems to be there, and the amount of manga carried is very good. The place even goes as far as putting their hentai manga on the top shelf and covering up strategic locations on the covers, with the full understanding that if you're into that kind of stuff, go right ahead, but no need to flash it needlessly. Both standard manga, graphic novels/compilations, and American-published manga seem to be represented nicely. The proprietor of the store really seems to know his stuff, not just take up space behind the counter. And one final touch, IMHO great: instead of a separate back issues section, all the comics are just put up on the shelves facing the customer in one thick stack. Thus, there is the foot-wide stack of Transmetropolitans going back to issue 13, and all of three feet of Ah! My Goddess. - MK
