Frorral was given to the Jedi when she was very young, as her father and mother knew that by having white fur the other wookiees would not welcome her at all.

One day a Jedi Knight showed up at the village. [Speaking to] her father Frogall and her mother Bourral, the Jedi wanted to know if they knew if Frorral was strong with the Force. As they are not [Force-sensitive] they had no idea. The Jedi then asked if he could take her so she could train in the ways of the Force. But just before they could answer, the village was attacked by hunters. The Jedi did all he could to save Frorral's family, but could not and was just able to get out alive with the young wookiee to his starship.
