Xard feels he must seek out new Padawan and leaves aboard the Shadowstar for parts unknown. He discusses this with Navichan, indicating that they must start to rebuild the Jedi, then he leaves.
The Queen Mother has heard rumor that the Mon Calamari, ever defiant of Sith rule, has a shipyard and has been constructing warships to rebel against the Sith. Following this rumor she sends the PC's to investigate and ally with the Mon Cals. During this operation, it becomes apparent that the Mon Cal negotiator, Ackbar, has an assistant who doesn't want the deal to go through. The assistant turns out to be a replicant droid, and a battle between this droid along with three Sith companions (Kedroth, Blyz, and Delara) assassinate Ackbar and fight the party. Only Blyz survives the battle. Shortly after the Mon Cals ally with the Consortium.
Navichan Juri has dreams about Xard captured and his people tortured. Eventually the PC's follow this lead out to a star cluster outside of the galaxy, the Odevron Star Dominion.
The party stops over at Aramasus, where they meet the Guild of the Jedi. The party is told they cannot leave the planet. Understandably, they are not too pleased about this. After several days the party's entreaties for the Guild to take action start to have an effect and eventually a civil war breaks out. Anakin Skywalker goes dark and kills many of the masters at the Temple. Dral blows up a tower to eliminate Skywalker, but later reports would reveal that the fallen Jedi was not dead. The party leaves for Odevra with one of the padawans, Sela Ryd, in tow.
There they try to negotiate and wind up in combat after Navichan mindtricks the negotiator, and he is vaporized by the replicant droids in the room (R-101's). The PC's bust Xard free, find their ship welded to the deck, and escape by being captured by Bounty Hunters, the Starblight Sojourners, who tracked them there. The Jedi Darn is introduced and joins the party at this time. The PC's and the hunters retreat back to the Galaxy. They take Dubrin Zahn as prisoner, and 1/2 starve him to death to keep him weak. Their destination is Nar Fetted.
On Nar Fetted Zahn is handed over to the Bounty Hunters Guild and carbon-frozen for delivery to Lotar. It turns out that Lotar is in fact Dral Tolan, and great moral debates insue which lead to confrontation with Krussik by Navi and party unhappiness. Diva tries to take matters into her own hands, but is subdued and brought to the Bounty Hunters Guild, which she had slaughtered in revenge. The surviving Guild members kill her on sight. When Zahn is defrosted he is enraged at Diva's death. During the trip back to Kamino he nearly destroys the ship and everyone on it, but balks at the last moment. Instead, once arriving at Kamino where he is to be arrested for his crimes, he escapes with EmQuai and is not seen again for 10 years.
