The party is invited back to Kamino to watch Ms. Morathan try and get some. Karlo ends up drunk, Krussik and Shino clear the dance floor, and, despite a cold reception from the Queen, Zahn is the one who does in fact get some. More than some, actually. Lots. From a Meityllan. As a favor, he also passes a message to Starwraith.
The party then goes to follow up on information received by EmQuai. Navi, Krussik, and Shino join Zahn on his ship and, in company with Darn and his starfighter, head to the primitive forest planet of Dantooine in search of The Enemy. Zahn remembers to land his ship in water.
Scanners detect an enemy base so the party moves in on foot. Contact is established with the locals but, since nobody speaks their language, Darn decides to demonstrate his Force Powers, presumably because it made him so many Ewok friends last time. It works just as well here.
As the party stands in a now-abandoned village, Krussik and Shino suddenly take cover. Nobody follows suit. Krussik then telekinetically hauls a hidden Stormtrooper off his speeder bike, throws him down, and yanks off his helmet. This is the cue for nearly 20 of the trooper's buddies emerge from the forest.
TIE fighters strafe the village as troopers open up with disruptor fire. Navi steals a bike and promptly crashes into a tree. Krussik, Darn, and Shino learn that it's only fun to Blow Shit Up when the enemy's not the one doing it. Zahn calls in the cavalry, only to see the troopers melt his ship. He remembered about the water, forgot about the shields.
Krussik escapes into the trees, Darn and Zahn surrender completely and unconditionally, Shino's captured, and Navi goes down swinging. And swinging. And still swinging, to Mike's chagrin. Eventually everyone is subdued, cuffed, collared, and shipped off as TIE bombers level the forest. Krussik hitches a ride out of the zone of devastation.
The party is taken to the base, sneered at, and transferred to a capital ship. Krussik, however, sneaks into the base and boards a shuttle which ends up in the capital ship's launch bay. As the ship prepares to enter hyperspace, Krussik and a not-entirely-successfully-mind-tricked pilot abscond with the shuttle, only to bail in an escape pod when the capital ship proves to be unimpressed. Stranded on Dantooine, he and the pilot go on to reenact a classic plot found in every sci-fi series, ever.
Meanwhile, Navi and company are shipped to Bespin. En route, Yannock, hidden in the confiscated wreckage of Zahn's ship, infiltrates the Imperials in a manner guaranteed to ensure his capture, and so it goes. On arrival at Cloud City, the heroes are greeted by Daedon and his stable of recurring villains. Navi hems over Daedon's dinner invitation and has her Force sucked for her troubles.
Dressed like a cheap Sith hoochie, Navi dines with the enemy but turns down an offer of information about her deceased mentor. Probably sexually frustrated by now, Daedon "interrogates" Zahn, who destroys the torture droid. Zahn's cocky banter is then interrupted by his own agonized screaming, as Daedon proves he is a dabbler in Sith alchemy. With Zahn now blind and declawed, it's Shino's turn. She concedes only name, rank, and, it turns out, a foot. Which is reattached. Without anesthetic.
Darn's visit to the chamber comes the next day. He uses Dark Force to deactivate his shock collar, steals Daedon's lightsaber, frees himself, and brings a big fat helping of ruckus, which proves only that a fight against overwhelming odds is, well, a fight against overwhelming odds.
In other words, he's killed. His body is then hung outside the prison window.
Over the next several days, as they're slowly starved, Darn's dangling corpse is not a big help to the party's declining sanity. Neither are Zahn's incessant blind jokes. Navi and Shino have strange conversations as madness grows.
Krussik to the rescue! Having contacted Kamino, he and the rest of the rescue mission infiltrate Cloud City, bust out their friends, and (thank you Marsyas) help alert the Sith to their presence. Dramatic showdown ensues with Daedon, Geist, Trisk, Ent Guy, Buff Kid, and Shooty McShoot Shoot. Both sides revel in the power of the Crit, as Gynda and Zahn (with Krussik's vision) punk Daedon and Trisk, while Samedy and Shino nearly take permanent naps.
Here Mike remembers that nobody actually deactivated the shock collars. As the heroes are mopping up, the freed prisoners scream and keel over. Oops. In the end, Shooty escapes but all his allies are now sprawled on the pavement. The heroes heal up, at which point Shino notices that Daedon's still breathing. She shoots his unconscious body with the Dark Force point previously reserved for coup-de-grace-ing Trisk.
Marysas tries to arrest her. Shino won't cooperate. Much argument ensues, and Marsyas can't make the arrest until after everyone's headed back to Tatooine. There Shino is jailed, Navi attempts to exorcise her psychological trauma, Krussik avoids telling Urtai where daddy went, and Zahn sees about having his eyes fixed. Session over.
